Bull-driven ghaana oil is made the traditional Indian way, with a bull slowly turning a wooden or stone press to crush seeds like sesame, groundnut, or coconut. The slow, gentle process keeps the temperature low, usually under 35°C. This helps the oil retain its natural nutrients, antioxidants, aroma, and texture. The method is eco-friendly, done entirely by hand, supports local jobs, and focuses on purity over quantity.

No, this oil is unrefined. Refining removes the natural colour, aroma, and taste to make oil last longer, but it also alters its natural composition. Our oils are left as they are, so they behave naturally. For example, coconut oil becomes solid below 24°C because it is high in saturated fat, while groundnut oil only solidifies near 0°C. This shows the oil is pure, not that something is wrong with it.

Coconut oil is high in saturated fat, about 82 to 90 percent, but it has no cholesterol because cholesterol is only found in animal products. It is plant-based and has been used for generations in cooking, skin care, and wellness.

You can use the oil for cooking, deep-frying, and reuse it a few times. Coconut oil can also be eaten raw, used for oil pulling, or safely applied to the skin, even for babies. Since it is unrefined and natural, it’s best to use it within three months and keep it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Bull-driven oil is labour-intensive, time-consuming, and yields much less than industrial extraction. The cost reflects the care, time, human, and the animal's effort involved. While we would like to avoid plastic, it is currently the most practical and affordable option for safe packaging and transport without increasing your cost. Please reuse the plastic bottles at home instead of disposing of them.
